Accredited Certification Body — sample ISO 9001:2015 certificate
Illustrative sample. Your official certificate is issued after approval.
ISO certification is third-party confirmation that your management system meets an ISO standard. ISO itself develops standards; it does not audit or issue certificates. An independent certification body (CB), after a two-stage audit, issues the certificate. The certificate is only as credible as the CB’s accreditation (e.g. NABCB under QCI in India, or another IAF MLA signatory).
Certification is voluntary in law and often compulsory in commerce — tenders, OEMs and enterprise buyers demand it. Validity is typically 3 years with annual surveillance. We support gap analysis, documentation, internal audit and management review preparation, and coordination with accredited CBs — not the sale of unaccredited “certificates” that fail the first buyer check.

We work with CBs accredited against ISO/IEC 17021-1 by NABCB or another IAF MLA signatory.
We confirm your standard sits inside the CB’s accredited scope before you commit to an audit fee.
Stage 1 and Stage 2 audits test the system you run — not a paper certificate sold without audit.
Select the right standard and draft a realistic scope (sites, products, processes).
Clause-by-clause gap register against the standard before you commit to timeline or audit fee.
Documented information, risk register, internal audit and management review support.
Coordination with the accredited CB; Stage 1 (docs) then Stage 2 (implementation) audits.
Certificate issued for 3 years; annual surveillance audits; nonconformity closure support.
Scope of the management system and top-level policy (quality, security, environment, etc.).
Measurable objectives aligned with the standard and business context.
Risk assessment, opportunities and context of the organisation (Clause 4–6 style).
Documented processes as needed for operational control and evidence.
Internal audit programme and reports before the external Stage 2 audit.
Management review records and corrective action evidence for nonconformities.
The CB conducts surveillance audits each year; nonconformities must be closed on time.
Full recertification audit before the 3-year certificate expires.
Auditors test the system you run — records and evidence must match the documented system.
We can track surveillance dates, prepare for each audit and support nonconformity closure.
NABCB / IAF MLA CBs so the certificate survives tender and buyer verification.
Clause-by-clause gap register before you commit to timeline or audit fees.
Templates adapted to how you operate — not a generic manual that fails Stage 2.
Surveillance tracking and nonconformity support so the certificate is not suspended.
Third-party confirmation by an accredited certification body that your management system meets an ISO standard (e.g. 9001, 14001, 27001). ISO itself does not issue certificates.
No Indian statute requires it. It is often required by tenders, OEMs, enterprise buyers and export markets. Voluntary in law, commercial in practice.
Unaccredited certificates are routinely rejected when a buyer or tender evaluator checks accreditation. We work with NABCB or other IAF MLA signatory bodies only.
Depends on the standard and readiness: ISO 9001 often 3–8 weeks of implementation support; ISO 27001 and IATF 16949 longer (8–32 weeks). Audit scheduling adds time.
Stage 1 is a documentation and readiness review. Stage 2 is the full implementation audit. Both must be passed for the certificate to be issued.
